Condemned Pc
While it’s one of the most famous stories in the world and fairly relevant in the lead up to Christmas, a four-part series based on The Nativity doesn’t exactly come across as must see television or a drama that will test expectations. It’s a tale as familiar as the annual cries from horrible muckspreading newspapers that schools/councils/the non-existent PC brigade have banned Christmas. (Well, the proles need something to distract their attention while X Factor isn’t on).
However, writer Tony Jordan is far more interested in the story behind the story and the people involved rather than the somewhat extraordinary circumstances surrounding it (you know, the birth of the son of God and all that). If The Nativity would have been a straight re-telling of what everyone already knows then it would be boring TV. Thankfully it’s turned out to be a nice character drama that just so happens to be set around that Christmas thing.

Okay, so this is a touch on the soap side things (only slightly) and it’s already documented that in later episodes Joseph’s (Andrew Buchan) reaction to his supposed virgin wife Mary (Tatiana Maslany) that she is pregnant has a bit of harsh language.
